IABCA HNRCH-S Aventuras en Alaska Ultimate Ice Queen "Zia"

Zia came to us from Aventuras en Alaska Kennel in Kharkov Ukraine. She was the ultimate matriarch. She was well shown in AKC rings, but with no breed competition there were no points to her name. She did earn her IABCA Honor Champion Silver title, however.

She was sassy, mouthy, and opinionated, never hesitating to let us know what was on her mind. She was the ultimate escape artist, if she didn't want to be confined, she would not be confined. Let her in the backyard, she'd dig, jump, or climb her way out of the fence and sit at the front door, and cuss out out when you opened it, because you had the nerve to leave her outside away from her humans. If she didn't want to be in her crate, she would not be in her crate, and that was that.

An emergency spay due to pyo ended her show career and prevented her from being bred, but she spent the last couple years as a much loved family pet. We lost her to a snake bite on February 4, 2026..
